1:23 Uh, I think even Bob Backlin's 1994 run, which was like four or five days, is up there as well. See, I liked that Backlin character because he was crazy in nuts. Um, Swagger because of, I mean, people make fun of Cody's list. Swagger had a list. Yeah, yeah, bad list. So I'd say Swagger. People would have probably also say Kofi, even though everybody loved Kofi Mania. It's one of my favorite moments we've ever covered in the history of the show. Yeah, but I mean, he had a decent, like, he had like a six month run with the belt before the broadcaster stuff. Yeah, it was, like, he dropped it in like October after winning it in March or April.

And we had a feeling that we were going to see a title change on Friday and behold, we did as Cody Rhodes defeats Drew McAttire on Smackdown to win back the M-Sphere to WWE championship.

2:47 And he will now face Randy or in that WrestleMania 42. So I simply ask you this, was this the right call or do we like the reported original plan for Cody's path at WrestleMania 42? What say that original plan? Well, Mike Johnson, PW Insider Elite, is reporting that it was learned that the original WrestleMania pitch, making the rounds was for Cody Rhodes versus Drew McAttire at WrestleMania 42 inside Hell in a cell. Dr. Trey, was this the right call or would you prefer to see Drew versus Cody in Hell in Cell? If those are my two options, I'll lean Cody Orton. Like, I love Drew. Don't get me wrong.

3:33 Now that would have meant taking this Smackdown match out of the equation and then doing just Cody and Drew at WrestleMania because Cody won the Chamber is where I'm guessing they would go. You know what, I'm going to change that pick. I'm going to go back, if that was the route they're going to go, I'll go Drew and Cody because that would be up there for like feud of the year. You would have basically like an eight month long feud at that point being settled inside Hell in a cell and at WrestleMania. Like, yeah, that's actually pretty badass. So I'm going to go with the original plan of Cody and Drew inside Hell in Cell is a better matchup right now.

4:16 Now it depends on what happens with Cody and Randy going forward because I think that was actually either on my WrestleMania prediction card or something we have talked about as a dream WrestleMania match. But you give me an eight month long storyline culminating in Hell in a cell at WrestleMania. That's pretty awesome. Yeah, this is, to me, I mentioned on last week's shows, well, I think, and you're going to see this with a couple of the other matches that we kind of go through here. I think this is a reaction for Ticket Sales. I think things in Creative's mind was flat, heading out of the holidays into the New Year and they needed to pump up some Ticket sales.

5:01 We said, there are some reports out there that the reason why Cody dropped the title was so that he was in the rumble and elimination chamber matches, which to me is the fact that they're looking at this as poor Ticket sales with these shows, we need Cody in there, we need WrestleMania. I don't know if it's like, Creative shouldn't be the one that's driving the change to get people to buy the tickets. It should be the ticket prices that need to come down, if that's the case. We've talked about that the ticket prices for WWE right now are so insane. Just like a lot of things that we're dealing with here, at least in the United States right now, that didn't need to be the thing that tried to get people to buy the tickets.

5:41 Buy the tickets, lower the cost. If you're not selling, there's a reason for that. That's a whole 'nother story for another day. If Cody and Randy Orton was what they wanted to get to, they've been planting seeds for a really long time and they could have taken the fall of this past year to help build that up. And they were quasi doing that and then Randy went away for a while. If you remember Dr. Trey, like Randy was gone for a little bit off television, he comes back for September, October, five of my months right and then he disappears again for a little bit. And I don't think we see him again until after the new year because he wasn't involved in the war games match right. No. Yeah, so it was like a really weird booking for Randy Orton.

6:22 And that's where I think it should have continued. If you wanted to get to Randy and Cody, you have Randy in that match and you teased that a little bit. But if you go back to those shows, we were talking about reports that they were like teasing whether it be Roman versus Cody or Cody versus CM Punk. You know, we had the Roman versus Cody rumors that were put out there that people were off put on. So they really didn't know what to do with Cody. And then, I mean, they've been building on this Randy thing for some time, but they don't move forward with it. And then they went Cody versus Drew, which actually got me excited because it was different and I was happy for Drew to get this opportunity.

7:03 And then what, five weeks out, they're removing Drew from the match and they're having them going entirely different direction. I mean, as of last week's show, you and I were sitting here going, we still think it's going to be a multi-person match. The vibe had been for the longest time. Cody, Drew, Jacob, Randy Orton was nowhere in there. They started throwing Sammy in there. And then you're like, wait a minute, could this be a fatal four-way? And then they pushed Drew in there and you and I last week's show were saying maybe it's a fatal five-way of some sort. Where Randy, Sammy, Jacob, Drew and Cody are there and we're like, how do we get there? Now it's just straight up Drew and Cody. Excuse me, Cody and Randy, no Drew and Cody now, no hell in a cell.

7:44 Drew is reportedly going to be dealing with Jacob Fattu. I mean, this is, I get, you want the road to WrestleMania to like kind of be all over the place and a little bit bumpy and keep your fans guessing. But maybe this is the old school fantasy doctor try. I've always enjoyed when it's pretty much set in stone. I feel like you do too because you mentioned like a good six-month build, seven-month build, eight-month build. Like people like that and like it's seen play out at WrestleMania than what they're doing right now. Yeah, I mean, we saw it a couple of years ago, not culminating in WrestleMania really, but like the Drew McIntyre CM Punk feud.

8:24 And that took a long, long time, you know, and that hell in a cell match is still really memorable, you know. Like those things are great. Like I like a good long build up and you know with so much history between Randy, and Cody Rhodes, I kind of feel like you're getting short change in only a five-week build up. Now, granted, they're both its baby face, baby face, which unless somebody kind of turns a corner between now and WrestleMania is kind of the direction we're going. But yeah, like I would have liked it if they had had, let's say, Drew and Randy, Randy wins the chamber.

9:05 But as we go along, you keep adding people to the mix and to the story to get to a multi-person match. Like I've been fine with that too. Like this just seems so reactionary and kind of out of nowhere. And I really hate the report that they took the belts off of Cody to put them in the rumble. The rumble sells itself, Jeff. I got to watch the rumble for any one particular person. I really don't even watch chamber for one particular person. I watch it for the match itself. Like, you know, when we used to have the Hell in a Cell pay reviews. Okay, I might watch that for who's in the Hell in a Cell, but Heck, Hell in a Cell damn near cells itself a lot of times.

9:46 Unless it's the, the big was the Bobby Lashley Xavier Woods Monday night Raw Hell in a Cell match. But for the most part, Hell in a Cell sells itself. So it's just, it feels so weird and it feels so reactionary. And that's something we have not seen with this creative team since Triple H took over three years now. Yeah, it feels like it's panicking. You know, we had heard this bubbling up for a little bit. There were, there was the stories out I think late last week, maybe early this week. My timeline may be off that road dog Jesse James. Quit WWE creative. He had a high ranking position. I think he was running or partially running the Smackdown brand.

10:27 He, he has been, been a defender of Paul of extrable H creatively for, for some time. It seems like he has a pretty good mind creatively, but they said this was bubbling up. So, you know, I don't know if he's kind of fed up with directions here. You're, you're hearing that it's, there's similarities of the Vinc days were things for change. And if they got off the beat and path, I, I, again, I really hope that like four or five months from now, we're not sitting down getting ready for Summer Slam and the previews for Netflix is all the creative members on, on real preview in the next part of the season or whatever it is.

11:07 That they, however they lay it out and we're like, everything is just surrounded of WrestleMania's in chaos. Like we don't know, nobody knows what we're going to do. We keep changing the plans and blah, blah, blah, blah. Like if that's the case, then I think all wrestling fans should boycott unreal because the creative that they're like doing to make the show interesting is not good for the product that we're watching presently. So, yeah, I just have that like odd feeling that that's you're going to have like Paul Heyman or triple it, definitely triple H being like, yeah, we're all over the place with creative right now for WrestleMania all plans are up in the air and blah, blah, blah. And like that's the focal point of that season on real and if that's the case, then that's terrible because I think it's reflective that fans don't want to invest their money by going out to Las Vegas, buying the tickets that are really super expensive for two shows, the Hall of Fame ceremony.

12:01 WWE the world, whatever, right, and then the meet and greets that are really crazy money. If the show is an entertaining and if they did it tactfully and tastefully and made an entertaining, maybe I feel differently. The Cody Drew, Jacob Fattu, Sammy Zane, Randy Orton stuff on SmackDown has so been has been so convoluted, confusing and it's had bright spots but there's been a lot of low points and not as entertaining that it's now here we are in the home stretch and hopefully they can kind of wash that and start focusing on Cody and Randy.

12:42 And Randy, make a personal go back in a time, go back to Randy being the mentor and all that stuff and try to make it interesting but everything up into this point is you and I talk to this microphone presently, Dr. Trey, the unisputed WWE championship storyline heading in WrestleMania 42 since the new year, new calendar year began has been nothing but a cluster fuck. Yeah, it's funny because like if you go back six months ago, I think you and I talked about it for a while, it was there was Cody and Drew and then everybody else felt a notch below it and I think it's because I get the time Randy was off TV, they were teasing a little bit of stuff with him and Alster Black.

13:22 But it just felt like everybody else was a notch below and I kept saying like you got to start building some people up because I don't know if you could run Cody and Drew all the way to WrestleMania. We start to see it, the Jacob Fautou stuff, Sammy Zang getting involved, like it is weird because I'm still watching Monday Night Raw and they're still doing the Sammy stuff with Cody and I'm like, all right, well are we not, I don't really know what they're doing. Yes, they're kind of trying to elevate everybody at once but what's happening is it's becoming so like you said, convoluted that it's kind of hard to keep track of like which way do we want this stuff to go.

14:02 And right now it's like man, I was getting kind of excited about a multi person match and giving Jacob and Sammy like a main event night one world title match spotlight to help move their careers along. I mean if we go back to like what they were talking about like was like okay, we're going to do Cody and Randy Jacob and excuse me Jacob and Drew and then Sammy's just kind of on the outside. I'm like I'm not really a fan of that. I kind of want, Jacob and Sammy have been focal points for the last four months. They kind of need being that focal point going into WrestleMania season. So let's talk about the Drew McAteyre part of this entire thing so it feels like to me Dr. Trey that Drew McAteyre legitimately gets screwed and his undisputed WWE championship run since winning it in like the second week of January was not great at all.

14:55 I think I was trying to rack my brain in this and please correct me if I'm wrong if I'm forgetting one. So we held the title for about less than two months just a little short of two months after winning it I believe in Germany in early January and just dropping it this past Friday. I think he only had one title defense and I was against Sammy's in the Royal Rumble and then everything else was Drew McAteyre who is like what is he six foot six six foot seven 285 300 pounds of like nothing but pure muscle a badass a killer the Scottish psychopath doing nothing but running away all the time like becoming a chicken shit heel like he was playing the MJF the Miz whatever you want to say like style of world champion that he doesn't need to play at all like Drew McAteyre is an animal.

15:47 And all he did his character did was just run away run away run away until it caught up to him where he then just ends up dropping the title on an episode of Smackdown five weeks away from WrestleMania. One I don't know what that does for does for his character I think overall even though he's obviously booked as a heel clearly the most wrestling fans nowadays understand that you just don't boo the hell he'll just to boo the heel right we play roll his fans. But when you talk about Drew McAteyre the rest are like I am right now I think all wrestling fans for the most part like love and respect the guy love his character love everything that he's done feel like he was screwed in the pandemic era and then was like held out of the title scene for the longest time when he should have been in there finally gets that opportunity and then his book terribly like that was a really bad run for him.

16:41 And I just feel bad for Drew because I think he deserves a main event level spot at WrestleMania and I get that Cody versus Randy is the brand name and I would be behind that if that was something that they were. You know teasing back in September and October and we slowly built our way there Randy wins the elimination chamber Cody still champion I'm fine with that but the fact that you put the title on Drew for like. It's a 7-8 9-10 weeks only for him to take it off weeks before WrestleMania because maybe the storyline wasn't working for you guys from a ticket sale perspective I'm not a fan of like I just think that's really bad for Drew McAteyre and if it comes out in a couple years the Drew McAteyre is not renewing his WWE contract and jumps over to AW and Drew Galaway is reborn I can understand why I feel really bad for him Dr. Traa.

17:32 I truly do I think he deserved better I think the fans has served better and they should have just continued to lock it in and done Drew and Cody at WrestleMania if Cody wins a WrestleMania which I think all fans expected he would do then you could follow up with like Cody and Randy at backlash and let them carry it out all through the summer maybe Randy turns and we see it end up at summer slam. Yeah maybe they put the title on Randy at some point during all that as well like it just I feel awful for Drew McAteyre I think he gets screwed in this one and his run was not great like I can't think of another title defense other than the one with Sammy at Royal Rumble. I can't remember him having really another match outside of that Sammy match and we since the Rumble I don't think Drew's actually wrestled I think I think you're right I don't think he has either not even tag team matches.

18:18 Like we've seen him get involved in matches to kind of screw people over but yeah it was horrible booking because like I get playing up the chicken should heal I get that but here's the thing if Drew's this smart and we've seen him play them game and play the the the machinations and all there's like that. Why didn't Drew just give himself to qualify to that match. He hangs on to the belt then he goes to wrestle me and I'm with you I know it's like sometimes like they create a gets to cue we saw it's weird sometimes when you have a bad ass heal and he's a badass coming all the way up once he gets the belt they don't know how to book him properly.

19:03 You know it's like they like with Roman we saw Roman at this three year long run but a lot of it was and you saw it online bloodline interferes and Roman saves the belt you know and then like even Gunther's run with the world title wasn't great. There are certain characters in wrestling that are hard to book because you want to make the baby face look strong and not weak by getting pinned but you also want to be like you know when a big show big shows one of the hardest people ever to book because when he's a bad guy he's unstoppable and then the good guy has to show some great determination just out smart when he's a good guy you gotta make a little bit of bumbling it is.

19:47 It's like sometimes like guys are just dominant let him be dominant like. You could add drew wrestler couple of matches and then like to me this would be the perfect scenario to have you make some do this match and then next thing you know drew kisses qualify so now code is gotta rematch. Brandy's in the match and then you can still add Jacob and Samie into the mixing get all those guys into one match and people five throw ladder in there just make it a ladder match make it a five way hell in a cell match you ever get the top the three was the WCW match the three stages of terror three stages of the cage yeah what was that it was like whatever the movie was based off of that David our cat was. Yeah you know it's just it's a shame the Drew McIntyre character of like him saying I get screwed all the time like there's truth behind all that so I don't know and then you just think about like the recovery in this entire thing we talked about it where Drew versus Jacob now WrestleMania Jacob wins because Drew is going off to film a movie I don't get any of this because when Drew comes back I don't know I think I think it's gonna be tough to take him seriously doctor try I mean.

20:55 This is his real title room was not great in the way that he's booked was. Man I'm looking insanely weak and he does not need to be looked at as insanely weak whatsoever so Cody Rhodes back as the atmosphere WWE champion you know we're not even talk about the part where I think this could ultimately backfire on Cody with the adult fans at some point here very Johnson ask. He takes on Randy or now WrestleMania Drew McIntyre is without a WrestleMania match we feel like he's going to be taking on Jacob but to right now. And yeah it's been a while ride I guess just basically to kind of close the book on the last eight weeks of the industry WWE championship picture the stuff on on Smackdown.

21:37 Was not great creatively was not fun nor entertaining as a fan it definitely left us intrigued as to where things were going and at no point whatsoever were was the option of between Dr. Train I that we said was like oh I think this gets us to Cody versus Rainy or for the title like never in fact if you told us like in late January. Like someone from the future is like hey this is what the match is going to be I think both of us would be like how the fuck do we get to that and how why what are we doing what about true so. You turn to heal exactly I was I was in who turned heal yeah not not great but just to close the book on it hopefully moving forward.

22:18 They make things interesting make things entertaining make things personal make people excited for rain your versus Cody Rhodes for the in a speed of the championship and also what we presume to be Drew McIntyre versus Jacob Fattu with that said Dr. Trey let's segue right into the WrestleMania 42 card round up for this week. C.M. Punk versus Roman Reigns on the official side we have the usos confront punk and defend their family punk still isn't sorry Jimmy uso punches punk punches punk in the face to close out Monday night raw what did you think of the latest build in the story between punk and Roman Reigns. I so I liked this last segment for Jimmy hated it for Jay right like I love this I love that you know punk gets a call on some stuff about like you know Roman calling out Cody's dead I like I like the segment for what it was I don't know what you I just hated it for Jay it just made him look like weird and unhinged and just kind of weak because Jimmy kept backing him down.

23:22 You know so I didn't really like for Jay but Jimmy stood out like great promo great talking he's the one that gets the layout punk so I loved it for him. And it does add an extra layer of dynamics to this story because you know Roman wasn't always great to Jimmy and Jay and does that come into play down the line as well because you know punk said you don't have your cousins anymore well now Roman kind of has his cousins again if you want some. So it does add some dynamic to a story that is going to be hot kind of kind of hard to do when Roman's only around every couple of weeks I agree with you I thought Jay also looked very bewildered and lost in his promos ever since the trick Jay like gotten this baby face run he went from a guy that could cut a pretty good promo with his brother in the usos to pretty decent as the right hand man and the bloodline to like completely lost.

24:20 I thought he was like out out and left field I mean a lot of times where he was like stammering and staggering over his words and I thought Jimmy also really kind of kept the scene and segment together. I don't know where this gets us because the usos have been kind of doing their own thing now they're brought back in it does add an interesting layer overall I think the punk rain stuff has been a really intriguing build and we'll see Roman rains return. This Monday on Monday Night Raw to kind of further this a little bit forward I hope rains comes out of the gate red hot gets a little personal with punk. And kind of rattles the boots of C and punk like punk has with Roman rains I didn't think of something else real quick like if you look at the potential matchups and if if we're maybe doing.

25:05 Theory and Paul against the usos does this get punk back involved with Paul Heyman in a sense you know part of me feels like right like that there's like this weird. Cusp of a heel turn for punk is he's like even acknowledging the booze. But I don't think it does I mean I mean you want to talk about things that don't make sense. We've been down that road we just talked about it for the last 20 minutes I think that would be one it'd be like how do we get here how did we get here. Yeah it's just like the weird thing about like because once again we're going into WrestleMania with two world title matches between four baby faces.

25:46 Yeah it's I mean this is probably a topic for another day it's funny to bring this up I feel like this I saw comments from Cody where he was like I think this is going to be a sleeper WrestleMania which I think is odd I think that's a very odd thing to say for the top guy to be like yeah you may be counting out this WrestleMania because things have sucked but we may pull it we're going to pull rabbit out of our hat. In mid April I was like he's like no you know it yeah he's like acknowledging that this is this is not been great and they're going to surprise the world on a WrestleMania 42 weekend and I don't disagree with that like these guys are great athletes match they perform or phenomenal but what gets butts and seats is the creative so that's where they're lacking right now but nonetheless I think this is a topic for another day we make carried over maybe into next week's episode Dr. Trey when we've got some wiggle room.

26:36 Here but I think WWE it's very interesting that WWE in 2026 is going back to the well of Roman Reigns Randy Orton CM Punk and Cody Rhodes because I think if you looked back 15 years ago and I said that those four names would be in there you probably say what the fuck is Cody Rhodes doing in there and the other three it's like those guys are still on top so you know it was around 15 years ago that everybody was complied with the complain like why are we doing rock and sina like why aren't we promoting the young guys and here we are nobody says that anymore and they have a very very deep and fun roster. Nonetheless there you go.

Jade Cargo re-arriply they began their build day at a good face off back and forth on Smackdown instead of the beginning of their push into a WrestleMania 42 match we talked about some of the stuff on social media last week Dr. Trey. I saw the segment on Smackdown and I really enjoyed it I felt both women brought it. Yeah well one thing Jade does really well is cut a promo people may knock her for a wrestling but she can cut a promo. Rhea is one of the best at cutting a promo so and it's also the best like as much as I love some of the other women on the roster when you see Rhea and Jade face to face you're like those are two monster women and I want to see them fight whether it's whether they're blurring the line of work shoot they don't like each other they do I don't care.

28:01 Like those two behemoths in a lot of ways and I don't say that in a negative way like they're just two monstrously large women that athletically are superior to most of the roster. That looks like a WrestleMania match up to me so I'm glad it's trending in the right direction. The expected match I think Brock is back on this Monday edition of raw so is the Brock Lesnar versus to be determined Mike Johnson PW insider is now reporting to create the consensus among WWE sources is that Oba Femi is expected to be the person who challenges Brock Lesnar in WrestleMania adding quote we've had some who have asked about the potential of it being Gunther but no one we've spoken with believes that could be the direction I know that there's some to this.

28:48 As well that this the belief is that this is Lesnar's last year they may want to save Gunther for that retirement match but they also don't want Oba to lose to Lesnar but they don't want Lesnar to take losses right now if this is a retirement year because they want to keep building them up so then you don't book Oba against Lesnar because Oba should go over on Lesnar in WrestleMania. Nonetheless we did see Oba Femi crush Rusev literally crush Rusev on Raw. It has felt like for some time that Oba and Brock was the direction here sources are getting a little bit hot to this doctorate thoughts on Oba Femi potentially be in the one to take on the beast. I because of all the reasons you laid out I don't like it because as much of a dream match as it is.

29:31 What's the upside if Oba beats Brock then Brock does Brock lose a little luster in his retirement year whatever they do with it. Brock wins he's beating the new guy. It kind of reminds me when you know that rumble and Brock just beat the hell out of Braun Strowman in the rumble. You're like damn the only way I could see this is what if Heyman turns on Brock and brings Oba to his side and he's now the wise man advisor whatever you want to call it for Oba Femi along with the rest of the vision because you got break her out read out Seth's gone babyface and doing a minions gimmick right now I don't really know.

30:14 But maybe that's the only direction is if Heyman costs Lesnar the match to Oba is the only way you kind of save both guys in that way. Some of the rumored slash what we are thinking you've got down here is this double forces defending the women's tag team champ against Charlotte flare and Alexa Bliss and the Bella twins. Maybe we add some more to this doctor we did see Charlotte and Alexa defeat Keanu James and Julian Smackdown it does feel like the direction of flare and Bliss is involved in the tag team championship. And then maybe throw in Oscar and Kyrie I mean because right now Bailey and Lyra are kind of in the I see division I guess because Bailey's now your number one contender right now.

30:56 That could possibly do somebody turning on the other one that in WrestleMania so what do you do with Oscar and Kyrie in the meantime so maybe you throw them in the mix you get a four way for the women's tag belts. Let me jump to this so I have this down at the bottom of my sheet is actually going to be the last rumored slash what we are thinking but according reports doctor tray EO Sky versus Oscar is currently scheduled for WrestleMania 42 which is why WWE's intentionally avoided long periods of in ring action between the two. There is some internal support about potentially adding Kyrie saying and ending up with a triple threat as well again that comes to us from body slam net via wrestle purist on Twitter.

31:36 Dr. Dre thoughts there maybe EO Sky versus Oscar and maybe the addition of Kyrie. EO trying to save Kyrie from Oscar they put Kyrie on the hangar above the ring and it's a ladder match. Winter gets Kyrie. Yeah I saw that was like wow there's a creepy got guy with a girl by his side and they're telling Sammy that he is an evil side like where have I seen this before like oh yeah that was literally the same storyline from last year so people told me create WWE's creative flat and they recycle storylines they legitimately recycling a storyline from last year so like I'm fine with the match itself like on paper because those are two fantastic wrestlers but it's just.

I don't have any other new ones to add your doctor anything that you're seeing on WWE television that makes you think they're going in specific direction right now for WrestleMania 42. Well I thought we were going to Americanos Battle of the Americanos they wrestle many but apparently we're doing that on Raw next week but that could and you could throw both the Americanos into the multi person match because Ill Grande Americano's a really big star in Triple A and a baby phase and OG's a heal and but on this line.

It just felt like an extra edition of NXT television which we said it felt like it was going into it. We had Blake Monroe defeating Jada Parker in a street fight Tony D'Angelo defeating Dion Lennox, Tane and Paxley defeating Izzy Dame to win the NXT Women's North American Championship low-level ice to feeding Kalani Jordan in an NXT Underground match and Joe Hendry defeating Ricky Saints to retain the NXT Champion Chip.

If we predict this one I would have gone five and a like that was literally like in my head I'm like that's exactly how the shares should go. One that stood out to me here another piece of NXT news this past Tuesday Charlie Debsi which they've been teasing for a while he joined the stable birthright which includes Lexus King your eye corners Ariana Grace all second third whatever generation wrestlers and of course stacks who does not have any family in professional wrestling that we know of maybe it's Tony Mama Luke or little Guido.

42:48 But Charlie Debsi joins them but that's not really the big news item here doctor trade fit Finley and William Regal making appearance and that's what led to Charlie Debsi turning on TV and Heights and joining birthright and the reports after the show were expect that fit Finley and William Regal are on television more and that they lead this group and that has me excited because anytime fit Finley and William Regal are on my television it's a good thing. Thoughts here on the potential WWE legends because they're not all famous yet which is odd joining and leading this birthright group in NXT. I am a little confused not so much but I'm glad to see him back on TV I love some fit Finley I love some some William Regal when you have two leaders do you have none that's kind of that was kind of my thought process like I get why you're bringing him in because both men's sons are in this group.

I don't know why this guy keeps getting matches but here we are big boom AJ versus to be announced on trite a leel versus bandito on the main show Brody King versus Swarth Strickland timeless only storm versus marine ish a fear where everyone has been from ringside Darby Allen orange cast in the returning Roderick strong take on the dogs David Finley Clark Conner's and Gabe kid in a trio match. FTR takes on the young bucks for the AW world tag team championship John Moxley takes on conoscate to Kesha name no time limit match for the AW continental championship and we've seen conoscate to Kesha asked the Don Calisthen we do stop attacking John Mack Moxley over the last week or so on collision dynamite the Don Calis family because it's got a Kyle Fletcher mark Davis will be taking on ms.

47:18 And I think that maybe coming especially the way that he's been bucked maybe a marty genetic on Michael situation and I will also add that the Kyle Fletcher versus the football Mike Bailey matches past one day maybe one of the best dynamite matches I've ever seen legitimately that match was incredible. The Babies of Wrath Harley Cameron and Willow Knight and yellow we also take it on Megan Bain and Lenek Ross double double duty for both for the AW world women's world tag team championship tech versus Chris that lander into two out of three falls match for the AW women's world championship and then the main event here as MJF versus hangman Adam Page in a last chance Texas death match for the AW world championship.

48:06 If Adam pages loses he can never challenge for the title again Dr. Trey your thoughts on the AW collision excuse me AW revolution card. Top to bottom one of the best cards I've seen not in built it's been really really well built all of those story lines. And maybe outside of the the trio's tag title match you know because you're having to replace hangman with mistico a little bit of a short turnaround time on that one. Roderick strong getting involved with Darby Allen Orange Cassie when Roderick came out and said I think he walked out on works coisco we're basically he said he's not part of the conglomeration but from everything else from top to bottom just a really well built card.

48:56 Story lines great story telling like I am right now Jeff I'm more excited for AW revolution than I am the WrestleMania card because of how well this card has been built so kudos to the AW crates after putting together a hell of a show and a hell of a build it to it just. I don't know if I can last six hours watching it though. Yeah that's the problem right I mean 13 matches when I was looking at the card to get things together I'm like this is crazy like that's that's way too much I don't have 18 hours. And if you had in that so you got the zero hour battle royal match that's going to take some time you got 21 people in it. You have tech love and in crystal and or two out of three falls match like where do you go to do the short change match like where do you get like the three minute match or the five minute match to bring down the time on the card otherwise you're looking at a six hour show.

49:46 So at least from start to finish for 13 matches I mean it's it's a crazy big show but I like I said earlier like I give them a ton of credit this has been some of their best creative work for a show this big and quite some time. I totally agree I think this has been through the first quarter of 2026 I think this has been AW's year so far and it's showing it's creatively the matches. I don't know how you felt after try but going back to the speedball Mike Bailey Kyle Fletcher match it just came out of nowhere I mean both these guys are extremely talented TNT title on the line and I was watching the match as it was going I was like I think this is like one of my favorite matches in dynamite history.

It's weird for me watching I'm I'm it's I like watching speedball Mike Bailey as a wrestler I just don't like his look because he looks like if Scott Steiner and the Tonga kid had a baby like it's the hair and the bear fee I don't know what it is like an early 90s character right like it's 19 free you're getting shivers I get it. Yeah he's so good in the ring though as it kind of overshadows it but yeah like that's it reminded me of the of the connell classic tournament like there's a couple matches in there that were like sleep you know like really fantastic matches you're just like why do we not build this up more not it's just like hey by the way Fletcher and a speedball this week check it out.

51:11 It's like you gave that match like 20 25 minutes and those guys absolutely killed it and like no promotion nothing for it really like that was it but I really hope because speedball does have the same haircut as Marty Jenetti when he got thrown through the barbershop window it does feel like that's coming right yeah no Kevin nice I saw the promo like before he wrestled mjf like the promos coming off very healish kind of like Ricky Stark's heel run as type stuff in a w and I'm like all right yeah I can see him and Swarve teaming up banding together Swarve recruiting somebody else and I will be surprised to see Swarve recruit the Swarve and his group down the line as well and then you get you Swarve you Swarve Kevin and the Swarve altogether maybe a J. Lethal in there too.

52:04 The only thing is is I eventually see jet speed break up with everybody feels that's coming right Kevin night more likely to to to be the heel and break out a little bit get him a world title run get him a run with a world tag team championship like that is a tag team that I've enjoyed that needs at least get a run with the tag team titles. Well he doesn't he holds a win over O'Cottas maybe at least give him the continental intercotto I lost track international international is there's an international a continental in a national am I correct.
